Maltby is a village and civil parish in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees and ceremonial county of North Yorkshire, England. It is located to the east of the A19. The population of the civil parish taken at the 2011 census was 293.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Parish population 2015 )〕 The ''Pathfinders'' pub has now been renamed as "''Chadwicks Inn Maltby''" and is the only 2 AA Rosette Gastropub in the Tees Valley area. "A 19th Century public house retaining original features such as the stone fireplace and beams. The pub (originally the Half Moon Inn) was taken over following the Second World War by an RAF mosquito pilot named John Liddle, who renamed it The Pathfinders in honour of the pilots and the proximity to the nearby Thornaby airfields.
